Sump: 20 lbs propane cylinder. Fuel filler: Taken from 1 gal. solvent can soldered onto sump. Bell: 18" piece of 2.5" exhaust tubing with one flared end, cut in two to facilitate the removal of burner tube (not shown). Air manifold is attached to bell with 1" piece of .5"x.5" CR. steel, and steel sleeve ID to acomadate OD of air manifold with 6-32 set screws used to secure any adjustment needed. Ball: Second hand door knob, with No.80 hole drilled with pin vice, soldered onto air manifold. Air manifold 3/8" black iron with "Air moderator" (Useless pos, going to replace with an air regulator). Oil pump; Pump: Drill driven transfer pump. Motor: 1/5 HP 120v. Gear train: 4:1 ratio. Drive gear: 1" pitch Dia., 12 teeth, outside Dia. 1.1666, 30 Deg. gear tooth split. Reduction gear: 4" pitch Dia. 48 teeth, outside Dia. 4.1666, 7.5 Deg. gear tooth split. Both gears. Diametral pitch 12 Deg., circular pitch .2616, whole depth .1853, working depth .1666, addendum .0833, dedendum .1020, tooth thickness at pitch Dia. .1309, 20 Deg. angle pressure. The gears were hand laid out, and cut out of 3/8" plate steel. I drilled the root of the gears first then used an angle grinder in a jig to do most of the cutting down to the root of the teeth. Picture a bench grinder with a zip disc, instead of the grinding wheel, and a large table, square to the axis of the cut, instead of a tool rest.
